The FOURTH Assignment:

After a long hiatus, we have this group up and running again.

The Fourth assignment is a self portrait in your pajamas. This is completely open, media-wise.

Edit: Because one of our founders (~rabidwire) is in the process of moving, I (`breaking-reality) am going to postpone the current assignment. This assignments new due date will be March 14th.

Who We Are:

We are a group of twenty-somethings at the moment with completely different specialities. ~rabidwire paints and draws, =flesh-was-sweet paints and goes to an art school in Scotland, and `breaking-reality is a photographer. None of us are properly challenged, so we decided to make a club. We are quite aware that we are not alone, so everyone is invited.


What We Do:

We set out an assignment with certain restrictions and prompts on the first of the month. The Assignments are due on the last day of the month. Within two week of the due date, we will sent out a deviation on ~assignments with the assignment prompt, the submissions and links to the individual deviations (if applicable) and deviants. In the comments section all founders, members and non-members are encouraged to critique the pieces contained therein, and also on the individual deviations (copy paste is acceptable).

At some point, there may be some kind of reward system, but right now this is just for growth and recognition. There are no winners, there are no losers.

By joining this club, you agree to have a small version of your submissions released in a small deviation with a grade and a critique by each of the Administrators. These critiques will be left on the individual deviations, and links will be made. This will be replicating the act of your teacher (instigator?) pinning your work to a wall and telling you what you're doing right and wrong. We will try to be as accurate and specific as possible, and respond to questions and comments.



How to Join:

We reserve the right to deny membership to any person or persons for any reason, although we will probably never need to use it.

Send a note to this account , ~rabidwire, `breaking-reality, or =flesh-was-sweet, (with your name, and the type of art you create) and we will add your name (not icon!) to a running list that will be made when we have members.
We highly reccomend that you watch this account (deviations and journals) so that you can be updated on assignments and results.
Any type of promotion you can do (putting our link or icon in your journal, or link in your signature) would be extremely appreciated, by members and non-members alike.
